I have traced some branches of my wife’s tree back to some interesting Elizabethans - Sir Francis Walsingham (Queen Elizabeth I’s principal secretary and chief spymaster) is her 12G Uncle and Sir Peter Wentworth (her 12G Grandfather) is buried in the Tower of London. Other relatives are listed as having fought at the Battle of Agincourt in 1415!
